Dr. Karen Elizabeth Boyle is a nationally recognized expert in microsurgical vasectomy reversals and a leading physician in the field of male fertility, reproductive medicine, and sexual health. Patients travel from the U.S. and other countries to have their reversal surgery performed by Dr. Boyle. She is skilled in both microsurgical vasovasostomy, as well as microsurgical epididymovasostomy, and as a specialist in male infertility, she has helped thousands of couples have babies through a wide variety of male infertility treatments.
Dr. Boyle is part of an elite group of two percent of board-certified urologists in the U.S. who are fellowship-trained in male infertility and microsurgical techniques. Dr. Boyle performs vasectomy reversals every week and is often consulted to correct failed vasectomy reversals performed by physicians without specialized fellowship training. To demonstrate her expertise and success, one of her previous patients had his vasectomy performed 42 years prior to reversal. Two-layer microsurgical vasovasostomies were successfully performed, resulting in a normal sperm count, pregnancy, and baby soon to follow.
All reversals are performed in a state-of-the-art, ambulatory surgical center certified by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Dr. Boyle utilizes the most advanced of microsurgical equipment including a cutting-edge Zeiss microscope through which the reversal is performed. Dr. Boyle’s team includes specialty-trained nurses and board-certified anesthesiologists.
